2027 SCL Championships

May 15–16, 2027

Registration is first-come, first-served. Capacity is limited to 100 teams; additional registrations may be accepted if hotel space permits.
You'll need: student names, birth months and years, and grades; and a team representative (usually a parent)
Cost: $175/student through December 15, 2026, $250/student after

Schedule

Your team will be given a start time to report to the first event. After you check in, your team will begin competing. When you finish one event, you will go to the next event until you have completed all events. The time expected to complete all events in a day is around 60 to 90 minutes.

Day 1 — Saturday 5/15

Unofficial events

When your team is not competing, explore mosaics, relays, and other puzzles throughout the competition area. Results will be recorded but won't count toward your SCL team score.

After hours events

Start time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm

The Premier Speedcubing League will host qualifiers and a head-to-head competition featuring some of the world's fastest cubers. Everyone is welcome, and registered SCL participants are encouraged to compete. Visit the PSL website to register.

Limited to 68 competitors.

Day 2 — Sunday 5/16

Start time: 9:00am – 12:00pm

Awards

Each division has its own finals. Awards are presented for first, second, and third place in each event and to the top three teams overall in the Elementary, Middle School, and High School divisions.

The resort fee has been reduced to $35.00 (plus 13.38% tax) per room, per day, and will be added to the room rate. Rooms must be reserved by February 15, 2027 to be eligible for the group rate.
